Supported Live2D Parameters

Vodcasto maps a selection of Apple's 52 blendshape parameters onto Live2D models in an optimized and intuitive manner. Details regarding which Live2D parameters are animated by Apple's blendshape data are outlined below.

Default Live2D Parameters

This section describes select Parameter's from Live2D's default setup which are animated by Vodcasto.

ParamAngleX: [-30, 30]

This parameter describes the range of motion when the character turns their head from left to right (yawing along the Y axis).

ParamAngleY: [-30, 30]

This parameter describes the range of motion when the character tilts their head from downward to upward (pitching along the X axis).

ParamAngleZ: [-30, 30]

This parameter describes the range of motion when the character cocks their head at an angle from left to right (rolling along the Z axis).

ParamEyeLOpen: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the range of motion from a fully closed left eye to a naturally open left eye. (For bulging eyes which open beyond the extend of a naturally open eye, see ParamEyeLWide).

ParamEyeROpen: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the range of motion from a fully closed right eye to a naturally open right eye. (For bulging eyes which open beyond the extend of a naturally open eye, see ParamEyeRWide).

ParamEyeLSmile: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the behavior of the left bottom eyelid (or left cheek) upon a smile from the left side of the mouth.

ParamEyeRSmile: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the behavior of the right bottom eyelid (or right cheek) upon a smile from the right side of the mouth.

ParamEyeballX: [-1.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the eyeball's range of motion as the character looks from left to right.

ParamEyeballY: [-1.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the eyeball's range of motion as the character looks from down to up.

ParamBrowLY: [-1.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the left eyebrow's position and form as it goes from its lowest (and angriest) position to its highest (and most surprised) position.

ParamBrowRY: [-1.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the right eyebrow's position and form as it goes from its lowest (and angriest) position to its highest (and most surprised) position.

ParamMouthOpen: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the range of motion from a fully closed to a fully open mouth. For tips on Mouth rigging, see this article.

ParamMouthForm: [-1.0, 1.0]

This parameter describes the shape of the mouth going from a closed, puckered expression to an open, smiling expression. For tips on Mouth rigging, see this article.

PramBodyX: [-10, 10]

This parameter is driven by ParamAngleX. It describes how the body will behave when the character turns their head from left to right (yawing along the Y axis).

ParamBodyY: [-10, 10]

This parameter is driven by ParamAngleY. It describes how the body will behave when the character tilts their head from a downward to an upward angle (pitching along the X axis).

ParamBodyZ: [-10, 10]

This parameter is driven by ParamAngleZ. It describes how the body will behave when the character cocks their head from left to right (rolling along the Z axis).

ParamBreath: [0.0, 1.0]

This parameter is applied on a timer, and represents the characters appearance as they transition from a natural exhale to a natural inhale.

Auxiliary Live2D Parameters

This section describes select auxiliary Parameters that Live2D riggers may use to fully capitalize on the animation workflows offered by Vodcasto.

ParamCheekPuff: [0.0, 1.0]

Left and right cheek should become more spherical, as if filled with air.

ParamPucker: [0.0, 1.0]

Progressively enable artwork you'd like to appear when the character is puckering their lips. For example, additional shine on the lip, or shadows to indicate depth.

ParamFunnel: [0.0, 1.0]

Progressively enlarge the character's Lips, and increase the radius of the opened mouth shape.

ParamMouthFormL: [-1.0, 1.0]

Same as ParamMouthForm, but only applies to the left side of the mouth.

ParamMouthFormR: [-1.0, 1.0]

Same as ParamMouthForm, but only applies to the right side of the mouth.

ParamSneer: [0.0, 1.0]

Raise the upper lip to show top of teeth and subtle gum line.

ParamTongueOut: [0.0, 1.0]

The character is sticking out their tongue.

ParamMouthX: [-1.0, 1.0]

Moves the character's mouth (lips) from left to right.

ParamEyeLWide: [0.0, 1.0]

Widen the character's left eye beyond the extents of ParamEyeLOpen.

ParamEyeRWide: [0.0, 1.0]

Widen the character's right eye beyond the extents of ParamEyeROpen.

ParamPositionX: [0.0, 1.0]

Normalized representation of the character's horizontal position on screen. At zero, the model pivot is intersecting with the left edge of the screen. At one, the model pivot is on the right edge of the screen. This Parameter is useful if you'd like your character's Physics to activate when the model is moved by the user's touch input.

ParamPositionY: [0.0, 1.0]

Normalized representation of the character's vertical position on screen. At zero, the model pivot is intersecting with the bottom edge of the screen. At one, the model pivot is on the top edge of the screen. This Parameter is useful if you'd like your character's Physics to activate when the model is moved by the user's touch input.
